The 25th Annual Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival

Saturday and Sunday, June 7th & 8th, 2008

More than 30,000 visitors made Montrose their destination on festival weekend last year.  Enthusiastic festival-goers turned out in droves to enjoy more than 300 artists, crafters, musicians, foord and specialty vendors, plus an International Food Court, live entertainment, a children's activity zone and a California Certified Farmers' Market.

The Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival is now in its 25th year.  It is one of the oldest events of its type in the state and the largest public event in the City of Glendale. The Montrose Shopping Park Association, which sponsors the two-day festival, Saturday, June 7 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM and Sunday, June 8 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, has had such success with the event that its expansion was inevitable.

More than 425 fine artists, craftsmen, food vendors, California Certified farmers, musicians and entertainers will be making their way to Montrose on festival weekend from as far away as Arizona and New Mexico.

The Festival has grown into an event for the entire family and features live entertainment, a children's activity area and an expanded International Food Court with seating for one hundred people. Here, busy shoppers can sample everything from Hawaiian Rotisserie Chicken, Thai Food and Tamales to good old American Barbecue. Also featured in the food court will be Gremoli New Orleans Jazz Band, The San Gabriel Seven and The Martini Kings.

Don't forget more than two-hundred stores in the Montrose Shopping Park. Festival weekend is a great time to discover the historic, century-old retail district and meet the store owners who are there to personally serve you.
