Old-Town Christmas

The spirit of Christmas again returns to the Montrose Shopping Park this holiday season. Since 2002, from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve, the Montrose Shopping Park Association has hosted its rendition of an Old-Town Christmas.

The sounds of Christmas will resound throughout Montrose. Every Saturday and Sunday, Montrose will host bands such as the Martini Kings and Gremoli jazz bands. These bands will perform old holiday standards from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In addition, Montrose will have plenty of events and attraction for children of all ages. For the fourth year in a row, the horse drawn trolleys will provide rides up and down Montrose for free on Saturdays and Sundays. On Saturdays, children can enjoy free pony rides along Honolulu Avenue. On Sundays, pony rides are also available for a modest fee.

Santa Claus will also be a common sighting at the Montrose Old-Town Christmas.





On Sundays, the Montrose Harvest Market will feature 45 food and produce booths selling everything from antiques and collectibles to toys and arts and crafts. During the holiday season fresh poinsettias will be sold for all of your holiday decorating. For the children, the Harvest Market will also feature an inflatable bounce house, an obstacle course, tiny tot's gym, as well as a country petting zoo.

The Montrose Old-Town Christmas creates a family-friendly environment where all can be entertained during their holiday shopping experience. For many years Montrose has been a haven for those seeking to avoid the chaos of large shopping malls. Please join us this year and have your self a wonderful Old-Town Christmas.
